The holiday season is here and it’s unfolding like a cozy Christmas blanket, wrapping us up in twinkling lights, cold air, music and joy. As the world gets a little bit brighter and the people get a little jollier, the drinks also get a bit sweeter. Tis’ the season of our favorite local spots whipping up their very own festive holiday drinks and you trying them all.

Nothing says Christmas quite like sitting in your favorite Jersey bar surrounded by a boisterous crowd and holiday lights as your sipping on some festive concoctions. Many local spots try their hand at different holiday drinks, and we picked out some of our favorites. Candy Cane Lounge – Bar One | Resorts Casino

With a name like Candy Cane Lounge, you can expect some serious Christmas vibes. This local favorite seasonal pop-up bar in Resorts Casino has all the decorations and drink specials you could need. From a Candy Cane Cosmo to a North Pole Nightcap, you’ll taste Christmas joy in every sip. The Candy Cane Lounge also offers some classic drinks with a holiday twist. You can enjoy a Maple Old Fashioned or Eggnog and Hazelnut Buzzballz. With live music, plenty of Christmas decorations and one of these holiday drinks in hand, you’ll feel like you’re sitting and sipping in the North Pole.

The Frosted Crown – Queen Jayne’s

From now until December 31, Queen Jayne’s Lounge and Royal Drinkery has been transformed into a winter wonderland. Festive décor, seasonal-inspired cocktails and daily happy hours make this spot the ultimate holiday pop-up. Head in for the happiest hours between 4 and 6pm for 50% off all bites. Sip on some holiday goodness and gaze at the plethora of decorations and twinkling lights lining the walls and covering the ceiling. The Frosted Crown is bringing all the holiday magic to Somers Point and you’ll want to be a part of it.

Deauville Inn

Give the gift of Deauville this Christmas. Step inside the waterfront oasis and be transported to Santa’s workshop. The holiday magic will be felt in every spot with the decorations, cozy vibes, good eats and festive cocktails. From December 1 to January 6, Deauville becomes Deauvillage and urges all to join for holidayland right on the sand. Brunch with Santa is also offered several times throughout the season as well as the Strathmere Locals Annual Christmas Party.

ICONA Avalon | The Sandbar Village

Need a spot where you can enjoy some cocktails and the kids can come too? You’re in luck, because ICONA Avalon offers holiday fun for the whole family. Step into ICONA Avalon Winter Wonderland at The Sandbar Village and enter a world of winter enchantment. Enjoy delicious food, festive drinks, fire pits, local vendors, live music, photos with Santa and ice skating. A place for the whole family to come and be a part of some holiday magic. Sip on some Spiked Hot Chocolate or Mulled Wine and get cozy in this beachside winter wonderland.

Feel the magic of another Christmas pop-up bar. Miracle on 96th Street in Stone Harbor is home to floor to ceiling Christmas decorations and delicious holiday cocktails. Sip on the sugary sweetness of the festive cocktails or beers and take in the extreme decorations that the Miracle elves worked so hard on. Open from November 27th and through the holiday season, this spot could get even the Grinch in a jolly mood. 

Jingle Bell Bar – 1927 Lounge | Ocean Casino

Sleigh bells ringing, lights twinkling and you boozing. Enjoy the holiday cocktails and vibes over at Ocean Casinos pop-up bar, Jingle Bell. Steps from the casino floor, allow this holiday pop-up experience to take you away into a world of festive cocktails, nostalgic décor and themed entertainment. Spread cheer for all to hear as you sip on Santa’s Hat, a Christmas Spritz, or the Gingerbread Old Fashioned. 

Holiday Cheer Pop-Up Bar | Bally’s

Raise your glasses for some festive holiday cocktails at Bally’s Holiday Cheer Pop-Up Bar. Spread some cheers and get festive with the New Old Fashioned Way cocktail or the Peppermint Espresso Martini. While the drinks alone can get you buzzing with holiday spirit, the decorations and joyous vibes really take the space to the next level. From 7 to 11pm you can dive into the wonderland even further with live holiday music to dance the night away.
