As the former Haddon Hall and Atlantic City’s first casino hotel, Resorts exudes the charm and elegance of AC in its heyday. During the holidays it’s even more elegant. As soon as you enter the lobby, you are greeted with breathtaking Christmas decor that is opulent and classic at once.
Go up to the second level to indulge in an exquisite celebration of fine dining. Although all the dining options are wonderful, we chose Capriccio. Ever since Resorts opened its doors in 1978, the Italian restaurant has passionately served expertly prepared fare in its old-world inspired dining room. In fact, Frank Sinatra often enjoyed dining here when he was in Atlantic City. His favorite meal was Veal Milanese, so I had to order that dish as my entrée as it is my favorite veal dish as well. It was superb as were all the dishes served at our table. We weren’t surprised though as Capriccio has been recognized as one of the best dining experiences in the country by USA Today and by food critics nationwide. The restaurant makes for a memorable place to dine and, during the holiday season, Capriccio sparkles.

Resorts has once again created a festive seasonal pop-up bar—the Candy Cane Lounge. Open to January 3, it’s the perfect place to indulge in holiday-themed drinks. While sipping on cocktails such as the Candy Cane Cosmo, guests can sit back and enjoy the festive decor and live entertainment! There will also be strolling performances by holiday characters around Resorts every weekend in December. Don’t be surprised to see Santa at the slots or dancing with his sexy elves!
