Spring Into Lifestyle!
Winter has been fun, but let’s face it — warm weather is where it’s at! However, as the saying goes, beware the Ides of March. March brings milder temperatures, but the weather can still be unpredictable. With that in mind, we’re excited to jump right into our Spring issue without hesitation.
This issue is packed with great features and new marketing partners. At Lifestyle, we don’t just sell ads — we seek out outstanding businesses and organizations we truly believe in and want to promote.
That brings us to our first feature: Blue Rascal Distillery in Hammonton. When you visit, you’ll be amazed by the rustic yet upscale atmosphere and their incredible craft cocktails. This category is growing for a reason! After sampling a few of their signature drinks, we couldn’t resist purchasing the Blueberry Liqueur to mix with lemonade and vodka — our simplified take on their Rascaltini. But to get the full experience, you’ll want to visit and enjoy their handcrafted cocktails made with fresh ingredients and herbs.
Next, we flew over to The ByrdCage, formerly the Good Dog Bar. While we were sad to see Good Dog go, we couldn’t imagine better new owners than Jason Tell, Giulietta Consalvo, and Richard Helfant, who have created an inclusive and welcoming space.
We’re also excited to introduce Michael Pedicino — therapist and well-known musician. Perhaps you’ve seen him perform at a South Jersey Jazz event? While we’ll be showcasing Michael’s many talents in a future issue, in the meantime, don’t hesitate to give him a call — he offers free consultations!
Another warm welcome goes to Compliance Services Agency, which offers an innovative workplace violence protection policy. In a conversation with owner and friend Lee Stokes, we were shocked to learn how common workplace violence has become — and how you can take steps to protect yourself and your family.
We also welcome Bruno’s Italian Market in Ventnor, located near Vassar Square Condominiums. This hidden gem offers an incredible selection of imported Italian specialties, wines, sandwiches, and charcuterie boards.
And, of course, we can’t forget Atlantic City. We’re excited about the newly refreshed Visit Atlantic City (formerly Meet AC). They have now merged with the former DO/AC to form a single organization, providing cohesive marketing for both group business and Atlantic City’s entertainment, restaurants, and resorts.
As spring approaches, we have some fantastic perennial events on the horizon:
• The Cape Atlantic Community College Restaurant Gala is Going Broadway at Harrah’s Event Center on March 27. It’s a perfect night to enjoy delicious food while supporting local culinary students.
• The Mosaic 5K (formerly Seashore Gardens) takes place on April 27—a beautiful day on the boardwalk dedicated to supporting those with dementia and Alzheimer’s.
• Bay Atlantic Symphony’s tribute to Haydn’s Choral Masterpiece is another must-see. This rare symphonic treat promises to be an unforgettable experience.
And don’t forget to check out our regular features on fashion, travel, and more! Visit NJLifestyleMag.com for exclusive content we couldn’t fit into the magazine.
We wish you a wonderful spring and look forward to seeing you out and about — living your best Lifestyle!
